The Story Behind Woodworks of Art: A Passion for Custom Furniture and Functional Art

Woodworks of Art is the creation of husband-and-wife team Ryan and Amanda Wyshynski, whose shared passion for craftsmanship, creativity, and meaningful design has led them to build one-of-a-kind pieces that blend function with beauty.

Ryan began his journey in design by studying Architecture in Perth, Australia. His deep appreciation for structure and aesthetics naturally led him to hands-on craftsmanship, where he first made his mark building custom kitchens. Over time, Ryan discovered his true calling: designing and building custom furniture that’s as artistic as it is functional. In 2013, he launched Woodworks of Art, a boutique woodworking studio dedicated to creating unique, handcrafted furniture and custom woodworking projects.

In 2021, Ryan’s wife Amanda joined the business full-time. With a background in business and a sharp eye for design, Amanda brought complementary strengths to the company—streamlining operations, curating designs, and helping grow their presence both online and in the community. Together, they form a dynamic husband-and-wife duo, combining artistry and practicality to deliver timeless pieces with heart.
